Breech for Pregnant Parents (BP1)

Description
Welcome to Breech for Pregnant Parents, an online course providing guidance, practical at-home steps, and resources for parents and support people. We dive into the physical and emotional layers of this topic and cover tangible things that can be done for self care, body care, and nuances in decision making regarding External Cephalic Versions (ECVs) and birth.

Join Spinning Babies Approved Trainer® Nicole Morales and Spinning Babies® Aware Practitioner Jamie Mossay for hours of videos, audio recordings, downloadable content, demonstrations and illustrations. Included are printable guided journals for parents and support people to use throughout the course. This course is recommended for those presenting breech in the third trimester of pregnancy. For birthworkers, this course is required before taking Breech for Practitioners.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Describe the different kinds of breech presentation and the historical context for caring for those pregnant with breech positioned babies.

  2. Explain possible reasons for breech presentation and how they can influence space available for a baby.

  3. Demonstrate safe and effective practices and balances that may be helpful for restoring space available for a breech-positioned baby while honoring the inner journey of self-discovery.

  4. Explain ways to stay connected to one's' self, baby, and support people when preparing for, experiencing, or integrating an External Cephalic Version procedure, a cesarean birth, and/or a vaginal breech birth.
